Combining super funds

Have you lost track of how many super funds you have or don’t even know where it is?

Australia has over $18.9 billion of lost and ATO-held super. So, there’s a good chance that some of it might be yours!

Having multiple super accounts can mean that you’re paying multiple sets of fees and insurance premiums. Over time, this can really add up and start eating away at your savings for your future. Combining or consolidating your super makes your super easier to manage and you save on fees as you are moving all your super into one account.

Australian Food Super can help you find out if you have any lost super and show you how to rollover any funds you find.

Call the Member Hotline on 1800 808 614 and a team member can help you by:

  1. Explaining how you can search for other super you may have within MemberAccess, our member online portal. This is a secure, login area of our website where you can check your account balance and update your personal details. You can also roll over any super you find into your Australian Food Super account within MemberAccess*, or
  2. Directing you to the Australian Taxation Office website where you can search for any super in your name and consolidate it into one account.

We also have a rollover form that you can download, print and complete.

*You will need to consider any insurance you may have with other super funds before rolling over into one account, and you should seek financial advice to find out what’s best for your situation.
